We are three friends who moved to Germany with big dreams — and one shared passion: food. Back home, food was more than just a meal — it was a celebration of flavors, culture, and connection. After coming to Germany, one thing we missed deeply was the authentic taste of home, especially the street food that we grew up with — fresh, flavorful, and made right in front of you.
We used to eat street food almost every day.
It wasn’t only about eating — it was about the experience: the sizzling sounds, the aroma of spices in the air, and the thrill of watching the cook prepare your dish before your eyes.
That energy, that authenticity, was something we wanted to bring here.
That’s how Aroma was born. We wanted to create a space that captures the essence of authentic Indian and Singaporean cuisine — from comforting traditional dishes to vibrant street food favorites. To recreate that street food feeling, we built a show kitchen inside our restaurant, where guests can see our chefs in action as they prepare fresh, flavorful street food — just like in the bustling streets back home.
